I believe I will find what reminds me of you

Past instagrams for the month of April. I'm pretty addicted to this iPhone app, even though I don't have an iPhone.

The song included in this post has been my go-to wake up and energizing song for this past month of April. All I wanna do is headbang, jump, and dance around whenever I hear this song.

Last weekend, one of my best friends, Giselle, my dad, and I headed to a thrift store downtown that I used to visit every Saturday with my dad and my aunt. Every Saturday morning from the hours of 9-12pm, they offer an additional 30% off the entire purchase. We only had about an hour and a half to spend and the both of us left with a maximum of three items. The prices I listed are the original prices before the additional discount.

My favorite find was the sweatshirt. I mean, two bucks for a comfy sweater?! HELL YES. And that doesn't even include the discount. It was a size smaller than my usual, and it smells nice fresh out of the laundry. Love love love. It'd be perfect to wear today...You know, if it wasn't raining.

In the meantime, I've been listening to this cover like crazy:

This morning, I woke up uber early in hopes of going to the Rose Bowl Flea Market with my cousin. Unfortunately, the sun wasn't shining through the windows as I'd hoped. I went downstairs, snuggled my pup, and fell back asleep on the couch. I'd already heard about Whitney Houston's unfortunate death, but I woke up to the constant news and sad stories. Anyways, I spent the next hour doing homework and drinking coffee and moping because it was such a gloomy day. Then the sun came out. I let my cousin know, and we spontaneously decided to go out to the swap meet and watched The Vow! Cute movie. I recommend it if you're into that chick flick stuff, or if you like a good ol' tearjerker.

New Year, New Beginnings

xx

It's the new year and I haven't done much. I don't really know what my resolutions are. I don't like making resolutions just because in the end I never pull through anyways. But for now they consist of: taking care of my face more, be more on time, and probably more that I can't think of at the moment.

The past year has been filled with blessings for me: I got a puppy, a house, went to the fair/saw OneRepublic in concert, turned the ever-changing age of sixteen, and went to Canada and Seattle, WA.

All I can hope is that this year is either just as fruitful, or more blessed than the last. Cheers to the new year.

Light a Fire, a Flame in My Heart

xx

This is old, but during Thanksgiving break my cousin and I took a trip out to a local park. Which was located right beside my ole middle school. Can't believe it's already been 2 years since I graduated from there. Oh, how time flies. This trip was probably a good thing for my little nostalgic mind. It's kinda cool 'cause so much has happened for me in 2 years. I'm thankful for it all too.

This song has been on repeat, and it actually sorta fits into Christmas time. Just listen to the ending.
